主要学术业绩及近年发表论文目录:

一、主要学术业绩

1983年-1986年(师从薛纪如教授)攻读硕士学位时,较为系统地研究了中国竹亚科牡竹属(Dendrocalamus)的分类学,并参加了《中国植物志》(第9卷)的编写,总结了我国有该属植物29种(包括9个新种)。1987年-1990年(师从吴征镒院士和路安民教授)攻读博士学位期间,研究了中国-喜马拉雅地区分布葫芦科雪胆属(Hemsleya)的系统学与进化。此后,在国家自然科学基金(青年基金)的资助下,深化了该属的研究,1993年出版专著《雪胆属的系统与进化》,被吴征镒院士称为“我国第一部较为完整的植物系统学专著”。1993年-1996年先后在英国爱丁堡皇家植物园和剑桥大学植物系做博士后研究,其中对忍冬科忍冬属(Lonicera)的研究发表在剑桥大学出版社出版的European Garden Flora(第5卷)中。

1996年底回国后,在中科院昆明植物研究所组建了“分子植物地理学”研究团队,较为系统地开展了洲际间断分布重要和关键类群的分子系统发育与生物地理学研究。通过对杜鹃花科、山茶科和鳞毛蕨科等一些关键类群的研究,以及东亚-北美分布的三白草科、东亚-南美分布的木通科的间断分布型的形成和发展历史成因的研究,对扩散或隔离分化等生物地理学问题有了较深入的认识。在竹亚科分类学、系统发育、生物地理学以及功能基因和分子进化发育研究方面,特别是在筱竹属复合群的系统学研究上有新的建树,探讨了竹子开花现象的分子机理。构建了三白草和细辛开花诱导和抑制cDNA文库,对其开花诱导基因表达、功能和进化进行了研究,探讨ABC模型在被子植物基部类群中的进化问题。较深入地开展了对珍稀濒危物种如喜马拉雅红豆杉、老虎须和巧家五针白皮松等的保护遗传学和谱系地理学研究。

现已发表学术论文170余篇,其中在Trends in Plant Science、Molecular Ecology、Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution、Annals of Botany、Taxon、Planta、Plant Systematics and Evolution等本学科国际主流刊物108篇,完成专著1部,参加编写专著(译著)17部。作为项目参加人获云南省自然科学一等奖和二等奖各1项。2008年作为第一获奖人获云南省自然科学一等奖1项。
